Anyway, after getting your reply above, asking if I'd done the reset as you suggested, I thought I'd try it again. Well, gmantunt, you are a genius! I had tried the Reset many times but did not go on to the " Pair your headphones" part of your instructions, largely because the device had not appeared in my Discoverable Devices list. Your headphones reconnect automatically to the last device that you used with them. If you’ve used Beats Updater to rename your headphones, that name will display in the list.
Make sure your headphones are not plugged in to your USB charging cable. I suggest you try a reset of the headphones following the Beats by Dre instructions.
